Note:
1. It’s a RS232 serial crossover cable female to female port, DO NOT perform straight through function.
2. It’s not a 15 pin VGA cable to connects computer to monitor, is only for RS 232 communication port to interface one system to anther system.
3. Shielded with standard Foil-Al layer shielding as most cables do, it fits for most of jobs.

If your equipment require full wire null modem cable (full handshaking signal), take this 1.5 foot 9 pin serial null modem cable wherever you need it, it allows you to add your RS232 peripherals to an application or replace your old cross-linked cables.
The serial DB9 cable female to female chord is with gold plated pins for superior corrosion resistance ensuring a solid connection.
The DB-9 connectors are equipped with a pair of thumbscrews for securing the plug to the male socket.

Happy with this.Only thought...which has nothing to do with the quality....is the cable could be factory marked (Null...Serial DB9). I purchased two different pin out types and once out of the marked packages could not tell them apart.

They should last a long time. The only downside is they are not marked as to being straight cables or a null modem cable. I had to mark them so I would not get confused.

Great product. It would be great if they made a full-handshake adapter, rather than a dedicated cable. These are the go-to choice for computer-computer serial connections. With full-handshake the connection is really fast and reliable.
