Im an HVAC contracter and needed a scope for heat exchangers. The camera definitely is a great deal for the price. Hooks to phone easily and has an easy to function interface. Great quality and the light works perfectly

I'm very pleasently surprised at how well this camera works, especially for the price. It came right up and worked perfectly on the first try; I just ran the app and plugged in the USB-C cable into my iPhone 15 Pro Max (Lighting and USB-Micro are provided). The app is bare-bones but does everything you really need, and according to the App Store it collects no data. We recently had a water leak in a bathroom and I needed to look under the sink for any mold. This unit did the trick quite nicely, providing a very useful view (no mold ). The light is adjustable, and there's a 2X digital zoom feature which came in handy. I also used the side camera and light; it's not in the instruction leaflet they give you, but you switch cameras by pressing and holding the square switch on the line control (it's in the ad writeup on Amazon). A short press on that button takes a picture or starts/stops video. Overall it works a treat, especially for the price.

I purchased this to help locate a possible AC EVAP core leak by inserting it into the AC drain at the firewall so I could see the core without taking the entire dash out of the car.Well it did the job and thankfully no leaks inside the AC box behind the dash.Picture is pretty good for using on cell phone but was better visibility on my 11" tablet. Lights could maybe be a little bit brighter but worked well enough.Software seems fine to use, no issues with it so far. Not a bad tool to have for $20

Is it the most high-res camera, of course not. Is it more than enough for most anything you'll need it for....most likely, yes. It can take pics and video, and has sufficient lighting to illuminate the dark spaces you make it venture into. The only real negative I can think of is its dependence on an app that may (or may) not be updated in the future; the controlling software might not work on a future version of android well before the camera itself fails. That said: for this price, still very much worth it and if you use it a few times it will pay for itself in saved costs of hiring pros, etc.Things I've used it for:-inspecting a copper pipe run in the wall for leaks-dropping network cabling from attic, through a 1-inch hole in cross-beam 8 feet down (cool video btw)-inspecting cylinders in an engine

I received this endoscope camera as a Christmas present for some small projects, and boy does it work! It was VERY easy to setup on my android phone, and it took very HIGH quality camera photos while I set it up. And this product cost less than $30 USD! This product allows me to see between the studs around my house, and lets me trace along a pipe above my drop ceiling. It is definitely a powerful tool to have to see what is between your walls or in places where you can't stick your head.

I got this for my husband for christmas. As an ASE certified master technician, over the years, he is owned very expensive versions of similar tools. He was skeptical when he opened the box, but he said he would give it a try. After trying it, he said he could not believe how great it was! He literally has paid up to fifteen hundred dollars for endoscopes, and he said this one.Is better than those and he even asked me to order him his second one. This is a great project for anybody. Who needs to look down around or behind or into dark places that you cannot easily access otherwise.

The power cord is iffy where it plugs into my phone. I t will work and I move my phone and it quits working, I tried to use it anyway, but now won't work at all. I should have gone BIG rather than CHEAP, My frugality loses again.

Kinda hard to use, especially when try to stuff it to the the pipe, but for shorter pipe it works great!
