I bought this cable to replace a different USB audio adapter. The adapter is well made and functions nicely. I think this one will last a long time.

It works very well. It's not perfect, as I can tell the difference while listening to music as opposed to connecting my speakers directly to the 3.5mm port, but for the most part it's been great.I would recommend it for those looking for a good alternative to using the 3.5mm port. Again, it's not perfect, but it gets the job done.

Works as expected. Plug it in, and plug your TRRS headset/mic and it just works. Audio out and Mic-In are clear and without noise. I don't know why so many other brand names have issues getting their mic-in to work.

I have a pair of Bose QC-25 noise-cancelling headphones that I use for gaming on my PC. They have a mic built into the cord that hangs about 8" below your mouth and a single 3.5" TRRS plug.However, my motherboard splits input (microphone) and output (headphones) into 2 completely separate jacks. So, by plugging my Bose into the headphone jack, I got great sound... but the mic wouldn't work and no one could hear me in the game. The headphone jack just doesn't support input.Popped this adapter onto my headphone's 3.5mm jack and plugged into a USB port instead. BAM, now I have input and output and can listen as well as talk.Note to other PC gamers: if your PC has separate headphone and mic jacks like mine, you can also achieve this with a Y-splitter that splits your headphone's single TRRS plug into 2 separate 3.5mm jacks, then just plug one into headphones and the other into the mic (assuming they're close enough to each other).I just wanted to use USB instead, but either kind of adapter will work.

For some reason the input jack on my new laptop did not work well. After trying multiple "fixes" I found the easiest fix was this jack. One end plugs into an available USB port and the other end is a recepticle for the speaker. It worked perfectly for me. If you're short on USB ports, there are adapters that convert a single port into 3 or 4 additional ports.
