Love this yoyo. I am a beginner. Used to yoyo and able to do a couple of simple tricks when I was much younger. Tried a more expensive yo-yo response recently with a bearing transaxle meant for beginner to intermediate levels but no matter how I tugged, yanked or begged, the yoyo would go to sleep and refuse to wake it up ! I am sure that was partly due to my skill level. The Duncan Toys Limelight is a really fun yo-yo with its LED lights and decent build. It is well balanced. It does go to sleep but only when allowed yet it wakes up right away when commanded with a little tug. It allows the user to perform some tricks too. It is reasonably priced and easy to maintain. Recommended.

This Yo-Yo is very easy to use and so much fun. Very intuitive and easy to do tricks. It's quite responsive while still having a decent spin time. It's not super durable but I've bungled up and whacked it against the ground a few times and it still works great. Overall I am absolutely delighted with this yo-yo and couldn't be happier. Also assorted doesn't mean you get assorted yoyos like in the picture you get one yoyo of a random color. Still a good deal though. And I like the yo-yo so much that I'm still quite happy.

Responsive, functional, spins great, quality is good, looks like describe in picture. Compared to dragon fly yo yo also from Duncan, this is a better deal for $10 dollars cus it has de lights while the dragon fly doesn't and comes about the same price.

This review is about ordering the product. I was thinking I ordered 3 yoyos like the picture, but I only received one. After reading the description more carefully, I learned only one will be purchased (not 3). I didn't even get a choice of color, but that also was in the description. I'm going to return it based on the misleading picture.

I purchased 3 of these for my 3 daughters ages 10, 8 and 6. We read the instructions and within minutes my 10 year old had the hang of it. The other 2 took a bit longer but also "got" it. My 10 year old especially can now do all kinds of tricks with this yo-yo. My nephew came over who is a yo-yo master and showed them all some new tricks, and they love it. My 10 year old took it to school to play with at recess, and is now the yo-yo master at school.

Aside from the nostalgic feeling this is a wonderful yo-yo. The string is great quality. It sleeps well. And for a beginner yo-yo, it’s actually able to do tricks definitely worth the buy. Definitely intend on purchasing at least one more.

After waiting weeks for delivery the yo-yo arrived already out the packaging and broken. I’m sure it’s normally a great product but unfortunately it’s not useable in this case.
