This is a good first inexpensive yo-yo my son loves it it lights up and is very good quality. Could easily do walk the dog and other tricks

I have not played with a Duncan yoyo in many many years. I saw this and had to buy one. So glad I did ! My wife thinks I'm crazy but at 62 yrs old I feel like a kid again ! These things have not changed a bit . Except the price of course. I can still " walk the dog " and " make the cradle " after all these years . Still a lot of fun to play with. Especially in the dark with it all lit up !! Hahahaha . So cool .

It doesn't sleep as well as my yomega fireball, but it sleeps and returns better than my yomega spectrum (it's light-up competitor), and the spectrum was $5 more. It also looks cooler because of the neon sides and string. The battery life is better in the spectrum, though. Another advantage of the pulse is that the width is adjustable, and it stays together better than the yomegas, because it uses a nylox nut on the axle. The yomega design uses a standard nut, which can come loose when doing important tricks like the stomp-up. The yomega nut is also smaller, so it is vulnerable to deforming the plastic around it if you try to tighten it too much. This means you never know if it's tight enough to stay together, or if you should tighten it further and risk breaking the Yomega. The nylox nut in this Pulse is a much better design because it grips the bolt/axle without relying on pure torque (twisting force). One disadvantage of the Pulse is that it has five tiny parts that come falling out all over the floor whenever you unscrew the two halves for maintenance, but if you're careful, they won't fall. The spectrum has only one plastic bearing that stays attached to the string, so there's less worries there.

Trying to yo-yo again after 60 years and picked a great one. It’s mostly clear and brightly flashes different colors when thrown. It has a ball bearing axle, which allows it to spin faster and longer, if you let it sleep (stop at the bottom), for doing tricks. Instructions on changing string length for kids and adults.

This was a hit on Christmas morning. I believe my son played with it for the entire day! He was thrilled with the yo-yo colors lighting up and all the tricks he could do on it! No electronic gift even touched.. 🙌ðŸ»ðŸ˜Š definitely a five star product.âï¸Priceless he is still constantly learning new tricks great gift. Plus very affordable!!

I have been wanting to get back into using a Yo Yo for a long time and I seen Duncan had a light up Pulse Yo Yo so, I thought I'd give it a whirl and WOW it is AWESOME! I highly recommend it!

This is a really cool responsive yoyo that truly is for intermediate responsive players.Good for ages 8 and up I would say, this is a great and flashy way to have some fun. This is the duncan limelight, but with a metal bearing for longer spin instead of a plastic one or a fixed axle. You can do most simple tricks, but DO REPLACE THE STRING FIRST. The string that it comes with it is counterproductive to the response system.If you don't care about the technicals then yeah, buy this yoyo. It is a lot of fun. Just get a new string on there, break it in, and enjoy! Who knows, maybe you'll try unresponsive yoyo-ing next.

Yoyo is imbalanced and always tiltied to the left. Also can't stay spinning, and always roll back after releasing the yoyo. So, can't do any yoyo trick.
