I wasn't really sure what to expect I remember making these when I was a kid myself. Having these makes it so much easier to play and come up with environments I even use it for when I'm setting up my models such as gundam. One thing is cool is that if you take a piece of clear cellophane and you have LEDs and you have structures for things like that you can have it light up and look crazy.Quality was awesome and for the money having them show up being dead stock no folds or anything. It's hard to get comic books to show up like that. The detail is a lot better than I expected the pictures on line don't always do it justice.

Exactly what I was looking for. Sturdy and lays flat, but also folds up for storage. Easy to erase and the board looks brand new again. Great price and arrived quickly....what else can you ask for?

Great map! It is also double sided which is awesome. I will say however the way this map folds causes creases on the image. So it is a lot of work to make it stay completely flat.

It's says it is compatible with 1985 volume 1 , but it is too dark for that in my opinion. It is however a good quality map.

Any one familiar with Pathfinder flip mats will find this to be more of the same. But instead of a themed cityscape or starship, you get dark water on one side (with 1-inch squares) and a lighter water on the other side (with same grid of squares).+ It responds well enough to dry or wet markers and cleans off easy enough.+ Another pro is it does fold up thin/flat and doesn't take up much room.OVERALL:-- For $5 LESS money (at the time of this writing) you can get a 3 pack of double-sided mats and have a water on one side, plus five different sides of varying terrain from Battle Grid Game Mats by Melee Mats Store here on Amazon. So for me this is overpriced by a lot since I can get 200% more map (and larger in inches) from someone else.-- Or for $5 LESS you get the Pathfinder Flip Mat Basic Terrain pack which gives you twice(2x) what you get here and one of them is a water side.It's still a good ocean map, but there are competitors with more bang for the buck.

Bought this for my partner for his D&D sessions and it works so well! Excellent space and it washes off really well with dry erase markers. Perfect for dungeons or other settings!

I have used the Dry Erasable maps for mapping out an Dungeon as the players progress without the need to shuffle multiple pieces of paper. Its a good resourse for all DM & GM alike.
