After 30 years of trimming miniature horses with traditional farrier tools (average 10-20 per day) my wrists and hands are shot, and I was facing a forced change of career.I decided to try power tools, and bought these disks to replace my traditional rasp. The 36 grit removes a substantial amount of material very quickly, without being overly aggressive. The 60 or 80 grits also work very well, removing material quickly but leaving a nicer finish.Combined with my 12v Milwaukee right angle die grinder, these discs have saved my career! Depending upon the amount of hoof to remove from each hoof, these disks last a minimum of 5 horses (20 individual hooves) and i have done as many as double that before changing discs. I am actually keeping all my used discs as backup in case I forget to order more, because even the most heavily used ones still have a ton of life left.And at this price, I am 110% satisfied with them. Will absolutely continue to purchase these discs for my business. I should mention that I am equally satisfied with the discs and backer I bought in a smaller size for smaller hooves (2inch).

I received this in my mailbox today package was ripped and taped and the discs were in a zip lock bag but were only 24 in the bag. May not sound like a big deal but box says 25.
