I thought I'd tried everything to remove my old showerhead. Regular wrenches, pliers, hands, bags of vinegar tied around the head, you name it. And during the process of trying to remove the showerhead with the wrong tools, I totally destroyed it. Then, I did more research and found that some people had better luck with pipe wrenches.This pipe wrench is exactly what I needed. I'd thought I was going to have to call someone to remove the showerhead, but this tool made it so I could do it myself. I barely had to exert energy at all. I just locked the wrench around the part that wouldn't budge, turned gently, and the showerhead came off easily. It feels well-made, is easy to use, and is substantial yet lightweight. This pipe wrench is also making me realize that if I'd had one before, I wouldn't have had to call a plumber when I dropped my Fitbit into my bathroom sink. Now I want more tools!

They work well enough. They feel a little cheap/imprecise. I don't need to use them that often so they work well enough

The Real deal. Great heavy duty wrenches. I've been able to remove 50 year old fittings easy pleasey with no slipping or damage to pipe and nuts. Having the 4 wrench assortment does allow using just the right size and thus achieving the perfect grip. Well except when I had to use the 18" to pull a chair hydraulic lift it did the job but left teeth marks, not from slipping but from griping. As described and meeting expectations will only get 4 star from me. 5 stars is reserved for when I'm totally impressed and these impressed me :)

Poor construction...not a firm connection between the adjustment wheel made for a poor grip on pipe causing much slippage
