I finally got around to using this moss product and I am satisfied. The quality is exactly what I was looking for with my home decor. I received two blocks that were compressed. Directions came with the product. You have to add water for it to expand and when it does, it's plentiful. It's a vibrant green color and has tiny soft velvety spiral leaves and has a slight smell of earthness and woody aroma. I am loving this product and excited to use the rest with my future potting decor items.

This moss is great! I like the variation in colors (many greens and hints of brown). ThereΓ’β¬β’s a lot of product once it soaked, pulled apart, and fluffed. Mine is still damp, so I it may fluff up more once itΓ’β¬β’s fully dried. I laid it out to help it dry, and it has nicely filled a 2Γ’β¬β’(h) x 3Γ’β¬β’(w) x 1 1/2Γ’β¬Β(d) tray. Wear gloves unless you want green hands (they use leaf extract for the coloring). IΓ’β¬β’m not sure if this would maintain its color if left in the rain. The color may bleed out entirely, and one would be left with whatever the original color is, but a spray of clear coat might work Γ°ΕΈΒ€β. If I try that, IΓ’β¬β’ll try to remember to update this review. Oh also, I purchased the 10oz package.

The moss worked perfectly for my projectΓ’β¬βit looked great and was easy to use. I also really appreciated the handwritten note from the sellerΓ’β¬βit was such a nice personal touch. IΓ’β¬β’d definitely buy this again for future projects!

Purchased as filler for house plants and to make moss platforms for air plants. Works well and looks great but it absolutely will stain your fingers green! Wear gloves when handling wet

While the directions warn about the dye, I didn't wear gloves like suggested and my fingers turned a light green color (that didn't wash off) from touching the moss. The moss itself comes compressed and is really pretty when reconstituted with a little spray of warm water. I put it on top of the soil in my houseplants to help hold in the moisture. However, the moss has an unpleasant odor. I'm hoping it doesn't last long because, if it does last a long time, I will have to get rid of it.

Loved the product and the personal note attached Γ°ΕΈΛΕ . Worked amazingly for my 3d art competition (I got 1st place 🫨ðŸΒ₯Β³) Be careful when handling after it is dry, can make a big mess unless you prepare before hand.

I did not read the whole description and was NOT prepared for how bad this stuff stinks haha. I had to leave it outside because it smells too bad to be in the house. After soaking it in water a lot of very intense dye comes out in the water and it stains really bad so be cautious of where you dump the water after soaking the moss.Between the smell and the staining, I donΓ’β¬β’t love this product. But, you do get a great amount of moss for the price, and it does look pretty!

Once you receive the product, the brick of moss looks really small but you have to sprinkle water on it and fluff it up. It will expand and looks great at the base of trees or for other decorative projects. Good price for the quantity and quality

I had hoped for already formed 'moss' for a display, BUT I assume water is needed to expand the block of some substance first. I'll keep looking.

I was so confused when I received this hard little dried up brick of moss. I tried to break it apart, it smelled old and musty. I couldnΓ’β¬β’t find any instructions on what to do with it. Thankfully, somebody left in the reviews to add water. It grows into this huge container of moss. I actually ran quite a bit of water through it, it almost looks like it had food colouring in it so much green was coming out. It has now been drying for a full 24 hours and I just keep fluffing through it. It hardly smells anymore at all, I will wait until it is fully dry before putting it to use. I wish they would include some instructions.
