This is my second set of these spade bits. They are awesome and last a very long time. They stay sharp for a while but a nice thing about the design is it allows them to easily be re-sharpened with a file. The other thing I really like, especially when using a battery powered drill, is this type of bit doesn't bury itself into the wood you're drilling (like the bits that have a screw end). This is really important when drilling wet, pressure treated pine because you can more easily control the bit. Great product!
