This chest is quite sturdy. It was easy to assemble and holds more than I expected. I wanted something aesthetically pleasing to hide all of my toddlers toys that was going to hold up. Overall for the price this exceeded my expectations.

Easy enough to put together, instructions aren’t the best. End product is great, I use for kids toys and it does the job. Looks nice!

I purchased 2 of these for toy boxes and so far they seem very sturdy for price. The hinges hold the lid open but it does slam shut when lowering the lid towards the end of lowering it, which could catch a finger if not supervised. I may find some different hinges that are soft close. Or maybe I installed the ones it came with improperly!!!

Easy to put together, came in one big heavy box each part was properly protected. I use this for my child toy chest, I love how it don’t slam so shut, which is great to watch out for the little one fingers. No power drill needed took me an 1hr and 30min given that I was doing it alone, I also suggest use wood glue like I did

We bought this as a nice looking toy box for our living room but the lid is not soft close and comes down very hard. The hinges do make it stay open but once it gets past a certain point it snaps close really hard! Was easy to build and looks nice.

Not a huge item, not real wood, but still looks nice, matches with my industrial theme in the great room. Lobe the castors on the bottom. They labeled the sides poorly. Adequate directions, but you really have to look well at where the screw holes are placed, which helps you figure out how to get things together. Easy enough for a woman to do on your own. Just takes time. Maybe if I knew exactly what was going to go where, I could have used wood glue to anchor the wood pegs and strengthen the structure, but it really isn't needed unless you're gonna have kids crawling on it or getting in it. Which I don't recommend. It won't be strong enough for that. But it could store quite a few toys. If the material was a bit thicker, that version might tolerate kids and be marketed that way. I will say the screw holes and all the connections line up beautifully.

This product takes several hours to build and the instructions are not written in the most logical order. When I finished putting it together, I realized that the wood-product was already coming apart around the areas where the hinges connect the lid to the rest of the trunk--before I even put anything in it. I do not have high hopes for durability, obviously, and, as an added bonus, the chest does not close fully. You should be aware that Amazon will not take this junk back for a refund unless you invest a similar amount of time to undo the construction and repackage it, which would be almost impossible. DO NOT BUY.
