This heater is great, heated up my garage quickly and kept me very comfortable, It runs great and with no problems, fuel it up, plug it in and hit the on switch and enjoy the heat. The fumes are not bad, if they get too strong I put on a respirator.

I've had multiple diesel heaters over the years and not 1 has ever given me as many issues as this has. The very 1st month I had to pull out the fuel jet, fuel filter, air filter, and replace the spring and ball for the pump flow. I wish I had known then what I found out the hard way with the issues of this heater. Not 1 week would go by where I wouldn't have to clean something, replace the spring and ball or completely pull the entire rear motor assembly apart to clean everything. On top of that, this heater has coated my garage in a layer of soot to the point I have to put gloves on to touch anything. My other 2 heaters, 1 being from the mid 90s and the other from 2015, rarly ever needed service. I'd clean them once a yr and store then empty for the following winter. I think I maybe replaced 1 fuel hose because it had dry rot. Other than that it was fuel up and go. Not this brand. The sad part is this thing never left my garage. The other 2 heaters I had were used on construction sites, transported full, one had accidentally fallen from a f550 dump truck side rail and it still worked everyday after that. Minus a small fuel leak btwn the seam if it was filled too much with diesel. The purchase of this just goes to prove that the quality of the materials and quality of the assembly have serverly declined in everyday products we buy. I'm writing this review 13 months after the purchase of this heater. On one of the coldest days of the year in Chicago area the motor seized. When I disassembled the motor and fan shaft. I discovered that a bearing, behind the fan blade, had been completely chewed up causing metal shavings to disperse onto thefan/rotor shaft and splattered all over the coil. I attempted to incorporate parts from the other 2 heaters, that I regretfully pulled parts from when I 1st bought this heater thinking I would no longer need them but the fridgid temp quickly filled the garage. I'd rather keep my fingers and toes then have to spend another second or penny getting this heater to work. The items in my garage that are not to be left at temps below freezing will have to be replaced. Anything this companies makes or sells will no longer be apart of my vast tool/accessory arsenal.

Mine is still going strong after years of use just cleaned the nozzle and electric eye and filled with kerosene and it started right up. Worked great in a 60 x 80 commercial garage for 30 degrees weather I have also used diesel in it as well and it worked good as well
