  • Dynaplug 5-pack of SOFT NOSE BRASS Tip Repair Plugs. This is the style that is packaged as the standard for Dynaplug Bicycle Tools.
  • When needed, just remove whatever caused the puncture, firmly push the tool’s novel insertion tube straight (without twisting) into the hole and extract the tool depositing the repair plug in the tire, done! Used in the tread, sidewalls and along the rim.
  • Store these sticky plugs in the PVC tray packaging or in the SS insertion tube! Rolling in wax paper also can work.
  • If a single plug is not enough to seal a hole, just fold the ‘tail’ flat on the tire; hold it with your finger and stick another one in there! Add as many plugs as needed, folding each tail against the tire as you insert plugs. A plug tail can be snipped off later if it bothers you; trim to about 4mm long depending on the location!
  • Dynaplug is a US company based in Chico, California. Made with pride in the USA

These are DYNAPLUG BICYCLE TIRE REPAIR PLUGS. Dynaplug Bicycle Tire Repair Plugs are a sealant-friendly, unique viscoelastic impregnated rubber that bonds instantly and permanently with your tire, and the nonabrasive brass tip will not scratch your rim or puncture your rim tape. No need to remove the tire, no messy glues or solvents, just plug and ride! Depending on the type of puncture, choose SOFT, BULLET or POINTY. Dynaplug is the fastest, easiest and all-round best way to repair a tubeless tire mid-ride. When needed, just move whatever caused the puncture, firmly push the novel insertion tube straight (without twisting) into the hole and extract the tool depositing the repair plug in the tire, done! Made in the USA.

This is a great replacement plug kit that fits well in any bike repair kit. Installation is relatively easy and has completely transformed the way I fix leaks in my tubeless tires. Over time, I have had to replace one or two of these if they get really dry or if I’m riding in super dry areas so having a few spares on hand is a great idea. Great kit.

I’ve used these for years to fix punctures when Stan’s sealant doesn’t. Sooooo much faster and neater than trying to put a tube in a slimy tire. Also easier than fiddling with “bacon strips.” Just pop it in, add air and go. They work great with my tubeless setup on both my road bike and MTB. No need to replace … it’s a permanent fix.

For all but the most horrible punctures, these work wonders on tubeless tires. It took two to plug a recent puncture, but once installed they sealed perfectly. I played Good Samaritan to a fellow roadie last week and he was amazed at how well it worked. Carry a DynaPlug, some CO2 and you’re good to go. (A spare tube for catastrophic failures is always a good idea ;-).

After going tubeless on my road bike (Schwalbe Pro One) I tried other, similar, products with just the 'bacon strips.' Those worked well enough but worked their way out after 50-100 miles. After swallowing the $60 price-point for the Dyanplug pill, i started using these. I had a run of bad luck with punctures but the "soft nose tips" got me back on the road very quickly.I had one instance where i hit a big hole seemingly right on where an existing plug was in my tire and it must have opened more because it started to spray sealant. I pulled over, plunged another plug in and while that sealed the deal, it dislodged the tip of the first which rattled in the tire for the rest of the ride - but i was sealed from leaks and that's what counts. The tire was pretty worn so i ended up taking it off and replacing, but the other two plugs looked good (see pic)I've re-upped with the new "bullet tip" normal-sized plugs as I am mildly concerned with the pointy ones damaging the rim tape should the tire go flat with one stuck in there. They are a little more difficult to plunge in but are shallower than the pointy tips and I feel a bit safer for my rim tape.At $2/plug it's a great deal compared to replacement tubes or a new tire and in my experience, they are permanent fixes as the tip keeps them from popping out and the sealant adheres to the plug. The longest i've ridden a dynaplug is 1,000 miles. The tire will wear out before the plug comes out.

I like the product I just don’t like how much money they cost for what little they are.

I have used other products, but they move during riding and leak. For example: I had one of the "bacon strips" get pulled out during a sprint. An icky mess. These insert easily and stay put. The amount of sealant that they save likely more than pays for them. FYI; my tires are GP5000 AS TR 32mm

Tubeless tyres have much less puncture resistance than tubed tyres. If you truly want to go tubeless these are essential, help pug the little slits and slashes that won't seal with the sealant alone. I always carry at least 4, which can seal 4 small slits or 2 large holes.
