We bought these for hanging decorations from our house to a light pole down by the street. You cannot pull it straight away from the light pole you have to slide it off that is how strong they are. We had high winds and our decorations stayed up on the line the entire time they were up! They were great. They were so strong that honestly debating on hanging Christmas lights from them next year.

These magnets work better than expected. We use them to hold up a tarp to a galvanized steel gazebo we needed to enclose for the winter.The magnets held this heavy cover in place with winds up to 40mph gust.

Bought in March 24' for $18.99. -----The magnets are indeed very strong and might very well be able to hold 100 lbs from the ceiling as advertised. It can't hold that much on a wall, that much weight would just make it slide down. ----- The measurements listed are correct. The measurement they didn't include is the hole in the center for the carabiner clip. It's 3/16" inch -----The housing is solid and the rotating center part makes using it really convenient. The magnet shouldn't leave marks when sliding it on a surface like some do. The magnet appears to have either a chrome coating or a chrome like metal cover over a ceramic magnet. There is no exposed dark magnet material visible on the back. If it's a coating, it may crack in the future-----The provided carabiner is small and easily removed if you want to use a small rope or twine instead.All in all, I think this 6 pack is a great value at $20 or less.

The main purpose of the magnet for me was to be able to use my numerous golf towels and turn them into magnetic towels. I purchased a ghost towel and found it very convenient, but missed the designs of towels I've bought in the past. I simply put one of these guys on it and voila! Sticks to carts great and is incredibly strong. Also, added my rangefinder case to it. My luepold range finder, although nice, does not have a magnet on it. having the case on the golf cart pillar near me has been convenient and I'm not worried about losing it. Magnet is extremely strong and has not fallen off once. Also, I find the carabiner more versatile than hooks for attaching various objects.

Very surprised at how strong these are. Not easy to remove, but it's not falling off. I would recommend

I got these specially to hang plants in my office. I had no idea if it would work on the metal of the paneled office ceiling, but the magnetic power is great. Highly impressed and a perfect solution to all the plants I want in my office.
