Exactly what I needed! These are tough enough to stretch the tightest shoes. I’ve used them on my women’s size 6, up to my son’s size 12 dress shoes. These are worth every penny and made just like the ones from many, many years ago. You never know how much you need them until you have them. Do not cause any damage to the shoes I’ve used them on.

When I first got these I was not happy. Found them frustrating to use and seemed flimsy. So tried again more slowly (reading directions this time!} and they fit perfectly. Left them in my sneakers just over 24 hours as directions said and when I put my new sneakers on they were more comfortable and less tight. I will definitely be using them and other new shoes I have purchased..

I would definitely not re-purchase. The very first time I used it, I heard the crunching of plastic within the stretcher mechanism itself. These are plastic parts that are trying to stretch tough shoe material, like leather. I can’t imagine these working for anything really heavy duty like a cowboy boot. I’ve tried it inside of a Sam Edelman Chelsea-style boot, with no luck in stretching. I had high hopes of these stretching out various types of sandals, boots, and other types of shoes, but have not had any success in creating width. I have a wide foot and high instep, so it is hard for me to find shoes to fit. This stretcher is not the solution.

These have been a god-send to me. A calcified growth close to my big toe causes pain when I wear all but the softest of shoes. This little device has enabled me to stretch the offending area in all my right foot shoes, leather, fabric and various plastics, eliminating the pain problem.. There are locating holes for the stretch nodules, three each side. It is remarkably easy to drill more in any particular area you might need. All in all I consider these stretchers excellent in use and value for money. Any modifications one may make would void the warrantee, they are so well constructed that any voiding would be of little importance.
