We bought this letter opener and staple remover combo for our office as we needed both. The first one broke after 8 months of daily usage. The other two are used almost daily and holding strong. That's a good value!The staple removers is smooth and easy without ripping the paper.The letter opener is quick and sharp. We have no trouble with cuts as the shape protects the user very well.We are purchasing again for the value and quality.

The razor blade in 1 of the devices was installed incorrectly, so there is no cutting edge for envelopes. The other 2 work great!

I can't remember being so moved about an Amazon purchase that I would bother to write a review before, but I just have to say how much I love this product! I agree with other reviewers about how nice it is to be able use this tool to do mundane, little things like opening mail and have it work so well! There is some kind of divine satisfaction I receive by having this thing zip so perfectly and effortlessly through an envelope. I now absolutely refuse to open an envelope by any other means! The fact that it is also my new go-to for removing staples cleanly and without damage makes it even better! I'm going to buy more to give as gifts to share the sprinkling of a little bit of joy in daily lives for my peeps! I'm sure to use this implement myself for years, and I'm sure my similarly OCD-inclined people will keep their own little, revered instrument in the same way!

The letter opener function was not a smooth motion, it caught on the paper in use and eventually broke off. The end with the staple puller functioned nicely. Do you offer alternative styles of this dual use tool? Do you offer something that works better/smoother and won't break after a month of use?

I bought a set almost in Jan 2020 and just replaced them in Jan 2022. The last a long time and work great. They are the only ones I could find that had the letter opener and staple remover in one, which is exactly what I wanted. A coworker went and bought some after using mine. I’m sure I’ll be buying more again in the future.

Super unhappy with this purchase! The envelope opener, you have to do it at the perfect angle for it to cut, otherwise it just rips the heck out of your envelope. Also, on one of them, the blade shifted so that one became completely unusable.The staple remover side isn't much better. It's so flimsy that the staples I needed this the most for, were the ones it couldn't get under.

An oka staple remover. The tip is a bit rough so it gets stuck on the surface of either the paper or deeper into the wall. Need to be careful when using. Not good if you are in a rush.
