- Save paper, time, and money! - Photocopy your worksheets once and reuse them class after class, year after year. The fi rst class in the morning places the worksheet in the SmartPAL sleeve, and the last class of the day removes them. Save the pages for next year and reduce time and paper usage at the copier!
- Prewriting, brainstorming, and introducing new concepts - Responses and ideas can be quickly modifi ed and rewritten without scribbling over incorrect answers or erasing holes through paper.
- Turn any book into an interactive activity sheet - Simply slide a workbook or book into a SmartPAL sleeve, and students can mark the text and take notes without damaging the book!
- Quickly assess student understanding - Pose questions out loud to the whole class. Have students record their response on the SmartPAL, and hold it up to reveal their answer.
- Differentiate instruction - Place worksheets of diff ering levels into fl uorescent SmartPAL sleeves. For example, use the green sleeves for basic instruction, orange for on-level instruction, and yellow for a challenge. The colors help teachers recognize the level of the worksheet, without revealing the modifi cation to students.
- Assign groups - Quickly create groups for literature circles, research projects, and problem-solving activities by using the SmartPAL border colors. Use the imprinted nameplate to name or number each group.
- Overhead projectors and document cameras - Ink can wear off of a transparency with continued use. Place your transparency safely in the SmartPAL sleeve and use it on the overhead. Students can work out problems on the SmartPAL, and then share their work on the overhead projector or document camera.
- Classroom organization - SmartPALs are perfect for classroom job charts. Insert your task list with students’ names, and use the sleeve to check off each job and track progress.

I originally had the cheaper versions from the dollar store, but I had inherited one of these nicer versions from a retiring teacher.When I started using page sleeves every day in my classroom, I could see how much easier this brand was for us to use because it is open on two sides.So, I bought the set, and my students are thankful every day. I still use one cheap version because I needed a pink sleeve. And it's my students least favorite.I love the colors too. It helps me to color coordinate our teams.

We homeschool our small humans so being able to easily wipe off and reuse things was a must! We love them they work great for workbook and single papers they are a little tough to keep clean though

I use these in my classroom almost everyday! I love the sleeve that opens up on one side, which makes it easy for paper to go in and out. I use these to go over answers on worksheets and to show writing examples on handouts, projecting on the smartboard. If you work with a small group, you can use it for students' practice with dry erase markers, without making more copies. :)

This product is perfect for teachers and tutors. It saves trees as you only need to print one copy and then use the sleeve. Multiple students can work on the same activity just by wiping off the sleeve and passing it to the next student.

I use these for small groups in math and literacy with first and second grade students. The novelty of write and wipe is great and it saves me on printing worksheets for each student! I have even sent some home with students who need extra paractice and sheets to work on. They love it!! I’ve already purchased again for next year!
