I wanted my flute to be more accessible at home, after I realized a) I had no idea where my stand from long ago went, and b) I want my flute accessible so I'll play more.I could absolutely see myself using this stand for performance, though I only play at home right now.It was easy to put together and seems sturdy! My flute doesn't wobble much on it, and it seems quite stable (though as with any tall narrow thing, it *could* fall over if kicked or bumped too hard).

I got this for my flute to use during rehearsal so I don't have to keep my flute on my lap when I'm organizing music and such. It's VERY sturdy so I feel comfortable leaving my flute on it. My one complaint is that it takes a little while to put together since it is 2 pieces. I miss my flute stand that was all 1 piece and very compact.

Great price for a pretty sturdy flute stand . It’s much better than the small portable ones but not as sturdy nor as heavy as the top of the line Hercules. It is however much lighter to carry with you and it’s half the price so students are more likely to purchase.

I purchased this Eastar stand to replace a stand that I had been using for my flute for the past year. Both this stand and my previous stand are advertised as portable/travel stands. The Eastar stand is not as portable (doesn’t fold up to be as small) as my previous stand. It is still quite portable, though, and comes with a little travel bag. The Eastar stand surpasses my previous stand with its sturdiness. My previous stand would often come unscrewed while holding my flute, therefore, becoming wobbly and sometimes toppling over. The Eastar feels much more secure, and I have no concerns that it will fall over while holding my flute. Overall, I’ve been very pleased with my purchase.
