The Eastern Jungle Gym High Back Half Bucket Toddler Swing is the perfect swing set accessory for small children, toddlers and kids! The swing seat is partially enclosed and features a unique high-back and front safety chains so parents can be confident that kids are swinging safely. This half bucket toddler swing can be attached to most swing beams up to 9’ high. The half bucket swing comes fully assembled with 66” of zinc-coated, 2/0 straight-coil swing chains that are adjustable up to 30”. The bottom 30” of the swing chains are coated in yellow plastisol to allow for a soft, pinch-free grip that is comfortable for even the smallest fingers! The bucket seat is constructed with high-durable co-polymer plastic that is highly durable, heavy-duty and rust-resistant.

We recently put up a swing set. My 3 yr old loves to swing. She hasn't quite mastered the balance needed for a normal swing. But also doesn't need full support. This was perfect.

I love this swing because my little granddaughter took one of her hands off the chain to point something out to me and fell out of the swing and thank God she wasn't hurt bad but scared me to death so I knew then I had to get her something safer to swing in and this is what I bought and love it with the safety chain in front of her and the back of the seat of the swing for support. I believe she has learned not to let go but I feel better with her in this type of swing and looks well made.

I removed one star because of lack of clear (or conflicting) documentation both on Amazon and the manufacturer site. The product is as sturdy as an adult swing in that the maximum weight it can handle is as much as the regular swings. The seat width is misleading in that it is similar to a regular swing, but the high back depth that determines how a child can balance their weight is much too small for a regular child over 5 or 6 in my opinion. This was not clear before purchasing it. Anyone much over 3.5’ would probably feel as if they are going to fall out (forward). I wish that some manufacturer would make a sized-up version of this swing for children with disabilities.
