Intonation 100% all the way up the neck. No overtones noted. Tone good to great. Action perfect. Palyability very, very good. The wood rings better (tone wise) with this finish IMHO. I would definately recomend this manodlin. The tuners are a bit stiff, but this is a minor issue. The mandolin comes with a nice black nylon gig bag. Note: photos taken with my hard case & strap.

I am going to re-learn mandolin after playing some 35 years ago. This is a beautiful instrument, plays well, sounds great. I am happy with my instrument and would highly recommend for a beginner player. I remember my fingertips getting really sore before but the action is nice enough on the Eastman I can practice longer before I have to take a break. I am very happy with it!

Absolutely love this mandolin! I bought a cheap one first, and man is there a difference! This one sounds better, is easier to play (cords on the cheap one we’re uneven heights), stays in tune, and it feels better all around. Great quality, came with the bag and shipped fast. I couldn’t be happier! Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get serious with the mandolin. I’m a beginner, just learning, and this came highly recommended for beginner to intermediate levels. The quality of this instrument speaks to why!

I had to return this mandolin due to the fact that the "e" string had no volume or tone. Was dead sounding. Was boxed poorly and just luckily was not damaged. No issue with the return and seller otherwise. I ordered elsewhere and have been very happy with my purchase.
