The product is fine! It just doesn’t fit the top of my hi-hat rod. The hi-hat rod I have is to small! Story of my life! Right? So make sure you have the right rod size for this or you will have to mount it on a stand. Unfortunately my rod size on my stands are too big! SMH!

The blue tambourine complements my midnight blue Tama drum set very nicely and has a nice clean clanging/chiming sound as I just beat it on top of my hi-hat.

It does the job, and that’s what you expect from a piece of drum equipment.Sound is good in both hand playing, and with striking from a stick. Loud enough for mics to get it, but not so loud to overpower other sounds. Very happy with it.

This tambourine is inexpensive, but it sounds cheap. The jingles must be made of aluminum instead of steel, because they just don't have any sustain or musicality, and they do not cut through the band like a tambourine should. And you definitely would not want to record with this item.I'm all for getting a product at a good price, but it's not worth it to buy a product that does not sound musical. For just $15 more I bought the Meinl Percussion HTMT2BK. It is built to last with more quality materials, sounds great and cuts through way better than this product.
