Quality material, good size and sound. Especially for the price. I'm a best bang for your buck type of guy/shopper. So, I shop around, and do my research. And this Cajon seemed to be the the best quality with what I was looking for at a good price. And after having for a while, I'm not disappointed

This has a decent sound for the price and comes with a nice bag for travel. The snare sound is decent and bongo sound is so-so. It is difficult to get a whole lot of variation in sound or a base sound with the snare or two tones with the bongo side.

I bought this cajon for my traveling folk music group. The cajon sounds great and has a strap to hang it around your neck so you can play while you’re walking. It also has a nice carrying case. It plays with a snare sound on one side and no snare sound on the other side. I drilled a hole in the side and I installed a pickup. It sounds great through my sound system. The total cost was about $80 for the cajon and pick up. The sound quality doesn’t sound much different than tapping on a table but I’m hoping once I put a mike in it and add some bells the sound will improve.

I was doubtful about this thing, but it is great. You can take it anywhere! Don't expect it to project like a normal sized Cajon, but it actually makes plenty of sound for its size. Takes a little bit of getting used to and fiddling with the tuning, but not much, and once you are done, it has pretty great tones and it is a joy to play. Go get one and steal the show from the acoustic guitar guy at the campsite!

Bought this for acoustic jam sessions at a friend's house. It works well in that setting. One thing I discovered is that the bass tone isn't that apparent when you're playing it, but for those a few feet away, the bass "blooms" well. No, it's doesn't have anywhere near as much bottom end as a regular Cajon, but it does a good job for its' size and my application. Worth the money, in my opinion.
