I’ve never even picked up at set of drumsticks before, let alone played on an actual set. But at the age of 36, decided to give it a try. I got this practice pad as a way to dip my toes in. In 48 hours, I’ve been able to learn some basic rudiments and I’m hooked! This pad is excellent for beginners, with two different surfaces to practice on. It looks and feels quality, has excellent bounce, durability and weight. The black on red make it stylish too. The sticks are lightweight and feel quality too I like that it comes with its own bag to keep it safe and make easier to take with me anywhere. I do wish the bag had a pocket for the sticks, but that’s ok. If you’re looking to dip your toes into drumming, or just need a practice pad so you can play on the go, definitely pick this up. It’s an excellent value.

I think it’s great tool the tap volume is as expected for the rubber it doesn’t bother my roommates if I practice stick control at night. The only thing I didn’t care for is the odor

I've always wanted to learn to play the drums but was inhibited by the noise that accompanies practicing. I'm in my late 50s and my husband was not too keen on the idea of me banging on drums everyday. The compromise was acquiring this set (at least for now). Because of the handy carry case, I can take it with me wherever I go.

I am new to drumming and can't afford to get myself a kit yet but wanted a way to do some at-home practice. This practice pad can hold up to a beating surprisingly well while keeping noise low; perfect for a house with roommates. For the price point it's better than I imagined it would be!
