These wheel weights come in strips of four that you cut apart. The foam backing is super sticky and they are painted black as in the photos. Lots of uses for these besides balancing wheels. I'm using them to add weight to model railroad cars. One over each set of wheels on a box car is perfect.

These black weights compliment many newer aluminum rims or wheels painted dark gray and black on the inside. Silver weights can be seen through large openings in rims and can appear unattractive especially if lots of weights were needed. Tested the adhesive by placing on a dirty rim. It grabbed immediately and needed be wrestled off. The short comings on these are they are not curved to help contour and adhere to the wheel better. See photo comparing a curved weight to these flat 1-ounce weights. Will it hold to most wheels yes, but the smaller the rim the more critical that curve becomes. Additionally, these do not precisely weight 1-ounce, or 28 grams see digital scale photos of 8 weights. In the scheme of balancing large wheels this really should not be an issue but pointing this out from a quality, manufacturing perspective.
