Eaton is expanding its line of arc fault and ground fault solutions to include the dual purpose arc fault/ground fault (AF/GF) circuit interrupter for residential and light commercial applications. The AF/GF circuit interrupter was developed in response to the 2014 National Electrical Code (NECT) that now requires AFCI protection in kitchens and laundry areas as well as the historical requirement of ground fault protection. Eaton’s AF/GF circuit interrupter will offer both types of protection in one familiar package. The AF/GF circuit interrupter provides quick installation and a single location to easily access and identify tripped circuits Key Features:
- Provides one device for both AFCI and GFCI protection, allowing for a single point of reset
- Offers complete protection from arc and ground faults for the entire circuit, including home-runs
- Integral LED indicates seven different trip causes, reducing troubleshooting time

After 5 yrs. had to replace a CHFAFGF115PN breaker that failed self test an would randomly reset. First replacement they sent had a flaw, Red light on breaker would come on and glow continuously. Sometimes it would be 2 days before red light turned on continuously. This condition was not listed in the error code table that came with the breaker. I requested a replacement breaker which arrived in just few days. Installed new breaker and everything appears to be working correctly but will monitor for a few days to make sure problem doesn't return. Would have given 5 stars if the first replacement hadn't been defective.

Worked great for replacing failed units. We have had terrible luck with this style/model of breakers. We have had 3 fail in the last 2 years. Brand new house and the cost of replacing them before was $60 a pop. Glad we found them on Amazon for almost half of that.But, they were easy to swap out the bad units with and seem to be holding fine.
