I looked a few years ago and it seemed the combination AFCI and GFCI 2-in-1 breakers were uncommon. I looked again recently and found these for the CH breaker panel.Installation is a little more complicated than a standard breaker, but if you are comfortable replacing a standard breaker this shouldn't be much different.Performance is great. I've found these do not nuicance trip at all, but when I was replacing a light fixture, even though there was no power in the junction box, the breaker still tripped. Impressive.

These are an improved version of the one I replaced. So, while I was in the box, I replaced all three (3) of these breakers (why wait - everything's already shut off and apart). I like this line of breakers and I can count on them. Yes, they're now required by code - use them where you need to - it's not worth skimping and then having a problem.

Exact replacement for a breaker that was failing its self-test and switching off each night.Easy swap and this one has not tripped once.Only negative is the price but breakers are not cheap and they are life-saving devices.

I got the idea for using these from a handyman type article last year, and it was a good thing. This product provides me an simple solution to the problems of GFCI outlets tripping while adding the modern feature of arc protection, which means the lamp cord type frays or dog chews causing a short and then creating a fire or injury. I did the simple math, for a circuit a GFCI/ARC of these means that no gfci outlets are necessary. My house being 18 years old it's time to replace most of my gfcis. And it meets the modern building codes requirement of gfcis in additional rooms and ARC protection on each circuit. I also have found the hunt for which GFCI outlet tripped in the house is over, as if there is s trip it happens and can be fixed right at the main panel. Since I have home watch people having a central area to check all power circuits is a good choice. They snapped right in the panel replacing the 18 year old CH breakers. I have replaced seven principal circuits (kitchen, bathrooms, exterior circuit, workshop etc, with these and will be continuing until I reach all circuits.

This is a discontiued item. Per Eaton website, this has been replaced by newer version, CHFN115DF. Description should state this. This item does not protect as well as newer version. Buyer beware.
