I don't know if I got unlucky 2 times or of the quality has gotten worse, but I have had two of these and each of them has been much slower than the LC80 variants of the FCX18. Considering both models should have the same drivetrain, it doesn't make sense that 2 Hummers would be slower than 2 LC80s. The first Hummer totally failed after 2 days. The motor was extremely hot to the touch and the truck would barely move. I own 5 crawlers and have modified several of them so I am familiar with all of the troubleshooting steps. This one was legitimately faulty, but it seems like the second one may also be faulty.

The car works well, fun for young kids, speed is decent. BUT way too overpriced for the quality of the car and size! I was expecting something much bigger given what other RC cars of that type and size are priced at. I must have felt in a very generous mood the day i ordered it. Let’s put it this way, I would not have bought this in a store if I saw it with my own eyes in person.
