I used these in a traditional wooden guitar and in a carbon fiber guitar and they worked perfectly in both cases. They fit securely, look good, and may have slightly improved the sustain of the guitar -- or that could be the placebo effect. In any case, I bought them again, and would be happy to buy more for other guitars I still have with plastic pins.

Can’t tell yet whether they’ve changed the tone but they look great on my Seagull Mahogany!! Just the right size too!!

There isn’t much to discuss about guitar bridge pins. This set was fine, nice appearance and they worked to secure the guitar strings.I did feel that they a bit smaller than ideal and seemed a bit loose when inserted. But in the end they secured the guitar strings as advertised.

Very attractive ebony bridge pins. The ring around the abalone adds a bit of eloquence to the overall appearance. Very nice. Great price.

Fit my Washburn Bella Tono perfect. Had plastic pins. Sounds warmer and stopped rattle. I replaced Bridge saddle with a Tusq trying to get rid of annoying raddle before it helped but didn't completely get rid of it especially when fingering was too high on fret. Now a lot more forgiving and couldn't be happier. I'm glad I got the bigger dot with the brass ring because head it smaller than you think so it helps the abalone stand out a little more. Of course, the color of the abalone is a crap shoot but not bad. I didn't replace strings since I play with coated string I could tell the difference right away. Of course, if you don't have plastic pins maybe it won't be as obvious. My pin size is 1T

I bought these to compare with the $30+ Martin Ebony pins . These were fine as a straight drop-in replacement for my 2020 Martin OM-28. I saw some posts about sizing issues, but these literally fit like a glove. I wish they made a Bone version or a plainer wood, but they are real ebony and I am buying them again.

Played with them in for a few days, but put my original plain ebony pins back in. These pins dampened the sound and sustain compared to the stock pins. These pins may sound fine in most guitars, but I was using them in an older/vintage high end guitar with maple back and sides. Maple is super crisp, very transparent and ultra responsive to a players input. Players either love Maple or hate it, but you can hear EVERYTHING! Changes in strings, picks, picking attack/style and minor technique make a big difference.
