Overall, this was exactly what I was looking for. Jacket length is just below my knees and is very comfortable. The material is warm enough for the near freezing weather that we get, but I can’t speak much for below freezing since it doesn’t get below freezing much here. Two inner breast pockets, one with a flap, are hard to see in the listing. The material is sturdy, but not scratchy like some wool blends tend to be. One complaint was that an inner arm seam began to come un-sewn. Not too hard to repair that yourself though. I’ve had it for a couple months now, and will update the review if something changes. Overall, the positives of the jacket outweigh the one stitching error so far, so it still gets five stars from me.

The overcoat itself is made from high-quality wool, and appears to be of impeccable quality. I ordered a Medium, and the coat runs past my knees, almost down to my shoes, for my size (I'm 5'10"). If the coat was only a bit shorter, it would be perfect. But otherwise, it's excellent; it's great to pair with a suit or even with a sweatshirt / hoodie. Overall a good purchase.

Coat fit perfectly. Stylish. Warm. Lightweight. Not as durable for an outer layer and vulnerable to schafing or wear of the outer layer of wool and easily damaged. Everything was perfect except its outer layer durability in combination with other fabrics or weighted backpacks.

XL does not come close to fitting a 5'9" frame. And since it was a Christmas present' ordered in Oct. I'mstuck with it.

I ordered a second one just to use some of its material to sew in a permanent belt. 2 of its buttons will be mounted on the back of the belt. So, the first coat is being transformed into a mild resemblance of a historical military officer's coat. I may alter the lower back to a flap or pleat.

Je suis étonné du résultat!!! Très réaliste a l’époque !! Sauf pensée à la longueur quand vous allez le commander ! Car je le trouve un peu trop long!!!
