I'm using it with a HD camera and one can see that the optical quality is not perfect, but it still pretty good and for the price I can't complain. If used on a VGA or NSTC camera I'm not sure one would even notice.At high magnification the working distance is quite small, but I wanted it for the lower end of the magnification range and there the working distance is fine.

Not a bad lens for the price, the focus is a little bit hard to turn but otherwise good.
