I wish the batteries were AA, but it also has the usb option. With the controller it's really easy to use and change the colors. Battery lasted at least 24 hours. Can see about a half mile away at least.

Bought USB version. Works well. Got a lightning deal. Will purchase again when it goes on sale. I'd give 5 stars if the remote was solar powered.

Probably not a typical review here: It has kept mice from reentering our 28' camper trailer for a couple of months now. The mice did A LOT of damage, the worst of which was chewing a hole in the water line under the shower and flooding the underbelly, requiring a lot of repair. I read that one of the best ways to deter their entry was to put flashing light-ropes under the trailer. This 100' LED strip light was perfect, extra-bright with highly variable flashes. It has been three months, flashing continuously...no more mice. I'll update if I encounter problems, but thus far it is perfect for that purpose: keeping the mice away.

Overall seems good. I like that it uses c batteries instead of aa. Has plenty of colors to choose from and is bright. My only complaint is that at about 40ft the lights shift color slightly doesnt any other issues though . But otherwise performs as expected.

I received this before the Holidays, put it on my fence. So many light "dances" to choose from. I love that it has a timer. It comes on at a certain time, shuts off after so many hours. Love that it's battery operated. Rain or shine it comes on.
