Beautiful bone crease folders. Solid, real, polished a bit, not perfect, but smooth enough for my needs and of course they will get smoother with use. I'd recommend these over the cheap plastic ones, for sure.

I ordered two sets of these bone folders (Heras). In the pictures, I show both sides of each pair. There are color variations which is normal for items made with bone. (I even double checked this information with a friend who is a farmer.) These bones are not dirty, their color is natural. As per the instructions on the website, I soaked these tools in soapy water for two days, then rinsed them off and dried them. They're beautiful and useful and all natural! I plan to use these tools with my sewing and quilting - a friend recommended I get them, and she'll be teaching me how she uses them to mark her stitch lines for the quilting phase. As sturdy as they are, I'll get many years of use with them.

Got mine today and very pleased with everything - perfect size for me, very nice craftsmanship, feels good in the hand, seem sturdy enough for any job. I'm a graphic artist who has used a cheap plastic folder/burnishing tool since college. Wish I had switched to these years ago. If there's one drawback - mine did not come in a package with the foam insert. Doesn't make any difference for me because I keep them in a cup on my desk with other tools for handy use and don't want to deal with a box - but letting others know they might not the foam insert. A great set of tools for a great price.

Came across these while looking for a new bone folder to replace my plastic one that had snapped in half. I figured it was time to look for a genuine bone folder, and I’m so glad I took the chance on these! They are absolutely beautiful! They’re the perfect size, have a nice weight to them, and work exactly how I expected them to. You can tell that they’re made from actual bone and not synthetic.After reading several other reviews, I was a little worried I would receive a moldy one, but both of my orders came in perfect condition. I ordered the 2 piece traditional creaser/folder as well as the square folder, so I’ve added a picture for size reference. While I expect these to last a long time, I would absolutely order again if needed, especially for the price. 10/10 would recommend!

I make cards or some other craft project all the time. A precise and crisp fold can make all the difference in the final result of your project. I have used plastic "bone folders" in the past. They work ok. But there is a REAL DIFFERENCE is making creases with a finely carved and polished piece of real bone....I would not have believed it, but it is true. These glide across any kind of paper smoothly, the points and curved surfaces are shaped with precision so my creations are precisely folded, be they straight edged, curved edged or with corners. They are easy to hold; even though they're smoothly polished, they do not slide around or slip from my grasp. I am so glad I found them!

Good quality product makes your life much easier if you are working with paper. It does the job, it's easy to use and the package is very nice looking if you're considering buying this as a gift to someone.Can easily recommend this item, I like it and since I've got it I'm using it all the time.
