Ecotex Textile Red emulsion does not require mixing in diazo. This pre-sensitized emulsion is ready to use straight from the container
12 Month Shelf-life
A huge benefit to using a pre-sensitized emulsion is the shelf-life. This emulsion will last 12 months as long as it is not exposed to any extreme cold or hot conditions.
Variety of Light Sources
This pre-sensitized emulsion is fast exposing and works well with a variety of light sources including 500 Watt halogen bulb, LED and UV black light.
Plastisol Ink Systems

Emulsion Best Practices
Screen Prep
- We recommend Ecotex Hyper Haze, it will degrease your screen and give the emulsion a clean surface to stick to.
- Eliminate any UV light from entering the room and work under a yellow light.
- Write down the day you opened the emulsion on the bottle to better keep track of your chemicals.
Coating Screen / Drying
- Use the sharp edge of your scoop coater
- Make sure screen is completely dry before coating emulsion
- Make sure screen is completely dry before printing
Drying
- 86 ° to 104 °F (30 ° to 40 °C)
- 30% to 50% humidity
- Good Air Circulation
Exposure Times
Exposure times may vary, start using the times provided below and make adjustments to time if needed.
- 10 – 12 seconds with LED Light
- 6.5 - 7 minutes with 500w Halogen Light

Four times now, I have rcvd the package and the top has popped off and leaked all over inside the box, which ruins the product as it hardens immediately... and at $100 a pop every couple of months, it makes me very angry. Needs to be packaged properly for shipping! Tape around lid and pack with lots of packing material AMAZON! Do better!

This emulsion is awesome!! Just be aware of the expiration date and mix it really well for the best functionality! It’s great value for the cost and the product dries quickly, making printing time much faster. On the thinner side of emulsion, which is my preference anyway!5/5 would recommend for any level screenprinter

Great emulsion. I used this on a 230 mesh screen with a 20w uv light. I used an emulsion calculator and it worked perfectly.

It's okay once you figure the time it's not that bad but you know the timing you definitely have to figure it out cuz if you leave it there for too long with your light it doesn't come off so I decided to just go back to my old emotion that I used to use from Queens New York

I always keep a quart of this emulsion on deck as a trusted backup. I expose for 18 sec. from 12in. with the speedball UV lamp. My one tip for longevity of the emulsion is to STORE IT IN THE FRIDGE!!!

I have not been able to get a good screen yet! I am following directions from the site...since there are none on the tub. It's not like it's my first time screen printing either. I spend more time and money washing out screens and restarting. I AM DONE WITH THIS! I had high hopes for this product. If someone wants to give me step by step details of how they got it to work for them please I will not be offended. When I got the product there was a thick clay-like bottom I had to mix in...Is it possible I got a bad batch or is this actually how it comes?

As described, plus excellent service. This is a thousand times better than photo emulsion with separate diazo solution, bought two and both failed Ecotex Red was astounding to use. Already bought again.

Doesn't cure evenly, doesn't burn well.Garbage product.
