It is a great replacement for the marginal stock 12" actuator that comes with the Eco-Worthy solar tracker kit. The mounting brackets fit the bolts on the tracker and it's the same length as the stock actuator. It is stronger, much quieter and smoothly pivots the solar tracker fully loaded with six 195 watt solar panels. The pivot pins have a tighter tolerance and that means the solar tracker tends not to shake in the wind.

These are far quieter and stronger. Slower but that worked for me.

This actuator is good but the specifications listed are incorrect. Listed speed is 20mm/sec. but it is actually 5mm/sec. @ 12vdc which is a 75% difference in speed. I purchased this actuator because it was significantly faster than other similar actuators as listed. I used it in my project but it is super slow which is a disappointment. It takes a full minute to extend to 12 inches.

I am very sorry I wasted my time and money on this pos. It is rated for 660# use, but the shaft is aluminum. I even tried putting a thick wall steel pipe over it in the hope the would work, but the picture shows what happened. Do not buy!!!!
