This is one of those items that you will probably not be able to find at your local hardware store or the big box store. There's just not a great demand for them, I guess. But when you need one, be thankful that Amazon is there and is always open. But when you need one, you will have to buy 10. It did exactly what I wanted it to, and now I have nine stored away for any future need. I just hope I can remember where I stored them.

Easy to use. Repaired a lamp. Joined 2 sizes of rods to make it long enough for the lamp base.

I use these in art sculptures and they are nice quality and finish for that purpose.

As the title says it’s definitely a thinner gauge and feels a bit flimsy but it gets the job done in a pinch

It works but it is a very loose thread fit. The wall thickness is also thinner than I expected it would be.

These thing strip every time tighten the nut on the lamp rod. They are too lightweight and do not function for me. I won’t be buying them again.

Couplings worked perfectly. Accurately threaded. Would desire other color than goldish-color brass.
