Just what I needed for my 86 F150 5.8 C6 transmission to hook up my passing gear to my elderbrock 1406 carburetor. It was a easy installation but you do have to remove the carburetor to do this install. Or atleast I did. But it was easy once I removed the carburetor. There are no instructions on how it goes. But there’s only one way it can go

Worked perfectly with my Edlebrock 1406 and my Ford FE motor. You will need the 8011 extension arm to go with this. Activated my kickdown lever perfectly.

Edelbrock has to be one of the best quality companies out there. This linkage kit went on straight forward and worked perfectly on thier 1411 carb. Hec the carb increased the mileage of my 460 from 11 with the motorcraft to a solid 14 now if I tune it I would think I could get maybe 15.5. I love Edelbrock parts!

It works well and does what it is supposed to but the spring to pull the throttle back into position is too weak. Ended up going with a much more expensive one that you can adjust spring rate and that had a built in throttle cable bracket.

It wouldn't fit my truck, I apparently didn't read that it's for pre-pollution vehicles. It looks like it would almost work. Carburetor sits too low, too far the driver's side, and too far foreward. I'll just leave it off and manually drop a gear when needed. I give it 5 stars due to build quality and it looks like it would work on ppv. Can't return due to cutting off the bottom hole to clear what was left of the heat riser.

typical modern montra. they all did it. sell quality(to a degree) till you get a name.then dump trash on the public. It;s ok cause it was for edey carb which they knew they assembled with bent needles etc
