Your cart is empty.The Carburetor Idle Mixture Screws will fit directly into the base plate of your carburetor. They will allow adjustment to the idle circuit inside of the carburetor base plate. Once the idle mixture is set, the speed of the idle is increased. If the idle mixture screw does little or nothing, the carburetor is probably clogged with deposits of dried gasoline and sludge and it needs cleaning and rebuilding. The screw is made of steel and has a gold iridite finish. It weighs approximately 0. 03 pounds and includes new springs for a simple installation. They fit best to Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS carburetors. The kit includes 2 idle mixture screws and springs for the square-bore carburetors.

What a great product to replace my over tightened originals with. This was the cheapest best repair I've dine in a long time. The quality is there if not better than oem. Shipping was the fastest and was definitely packed to not get damaged. I can't say anything but good about my transaction with this company.

These worked fantastic in place of my worn out idle mix screws!! Now I have a more consistent idle and not messing around all the time with my edelbrock carb.

I didn’t really think that I needed these until I went to Retone and I found that I was just getting hug leaps when turning them. For the price is especially even though the shipping isn’t too great these things work fantastically. I have a 1411 Edelbrock 750 CFM And these are the perfect fit. I do also like that they switched to just a flathead.

My old Edelbrock 1406 carburetor idle screws were a bit worn and appeared to be slightly pitted. Previous owner may have been a little too aggressive adjusting the carb and may have damaged the screw tips. I replaced the old screws with these original style replacement screws and was able to get a slightly better idle adjustment from my carburetor.

My original plan was to regulate my rhinoceros’s snoring by fitting them in his nostrils.But they worked far better at regulating the idle mixture in a carburetor, and so he still snores.
