Wanted to pep up my 2002 7.3L f350 dually. The edge evolution was recommended to me..Wasn't sure what to expect....The Install is super easy. Got the dash Pod for the CTS3 was disappointed it didnt fit inside the case but mounts to the front. But it works, its clean, looks OK...Did the SW update via PC and got the unit setup wore Wifi to my hotspot.This install went rather smooth....Tried to do the tune and ran into a snag. Reset the PIDs and it reconfigured for original factory tune.Make sure to manually insert your VIN for the older 7.3L when asked.So, I was back working again. Level 1 is a Tow Safe Tune as I have a 5th wheel. Figured Id start there.Leve 2 (race) and Level 3 (extreme) sound a bit much. So I went with Level 1 - Tow safe.It backed up my factory tune. and installed the Level 1 Tune. Follow the screen directions. was rather easy.So, I took it for a spin.WTF !!! The truck scared the hell out of me... I was pushed back into my seat !Ive never spent better money, ever...Fuel Millage was great at 22 MPG. (Once I got the fun out of my foot from a a stands still)I recently changed out my exhaust manifolds, up pipes and put in a 4" exhaust system.This tuner took advantage of those changes.This is a must buy, if your truck is in good shape, it may tear apart a lesser maintained truck.I have no reason to install Level 2 or 3 at this time. Level 1 blew my socks off...Cant believe I ran the truck the way it was.Best Money I have ever spent....

Buyer beware! They do not stand behind their product. I've had mine for about 9 months now and have had nothing but issues. In April my unit stopped working and I had to send it in to be reprogrammed.Now that I got it back I tried to do a tune, but it does not have my original factory tune stored in it anymore. Now I have to have my PCM reset at a Ford dealership for $260 and they will only reimburse me $150 for it. The other option is to send my PCM to them so that they can flash it for free. However, that means I will not have the ability to use my truck for work until I get it back!! Completely unacceptable.

After installing this turner I have a completely different truck then before, in a good way. she runs like a beast now, its impressive. That being said the system is very slow and sometimes glitches. It takes SOoooo long to change tunes. Sometimes the whole system freezes and you have to unplug and plug it back in.

Was looking for a programmer that had an economy mode that would allow me to run diagnostics on a diesel, as most store bought programmers don’t. The CTS3 fit the bill the price on Amazon was so good that I purchased the 3 year extended warranty, which together would have been what the programmer would have cost by itself on other sites.

I bought this for a little bit more power to tow my RV. All three modes are fantastic in that regard. The problem is when the torque converter locks, it locks so hard it will knock your teeth out. In stock mode it shifts correctly. I went to a transmission shop and have them check the transmission. Everything is A-OK. They checked it in the stock mode as well as the tune to mode. He said the tuned mode was causing the problem. I called edge tech support. He pretty much dismissed me and told me that that’s the way it works. I asked him about lowering the line pressure through the settings, or completely removing the transmission turning. He gave me a hard no even though several folks have had them do this.I guess I will send it back and get a hydra or something. It might be fine with a manual transmission.

I purchased this with idea of towing and having more Guage.Initially it seemed good however takes a bit of time to change programs, which is frustrating and honestlya little uneasy as it obviously takes over the contols of your truck.It was about 3 months and the touch screen began to not respond to touch. After 6 months it will not respond at all. It comes on but won't respond.Worst part is my truck is now locked to this unit and I have no way to restore my factory program.I WISH I HAD NEVER PURCHASED!!!

Purchased for my 07 Ford F-350. Updating and installation was simple. Wanted to see a difference in the power levels. Uploaded the first time and truck hasn’t cranked since. Even lost my odometer. Have been waiting for a tech rep at Edge for over an hour already. Tried to set tune back to stock and tuner doesn’t seem to recognize the truck now yet powers on with the OBD port just fine. Never had any issues with Edge before this. Easy to use system. Screen feels a bit cheap for the price. So far, I am not impressed at all with this tuner.
