I really like this kegerator. Assembly was minimal, it comes with a CO2 canister mount, regulator, tower & dispenser. It’s only a single dispenser, and if I had it to do over I’d get a double, but i set it up for Corny kegs and quick attach connectors. There’s room for 3 x 5 gallon kegs in there, OR 4x 2.5 gallons by rearranging shelves. I’ve had 3x 2.5 gallons kegs on the metal shelf no problem. I can’t connect the keg under the shelf because the Corny quick mounts have angled connections for the hoses, and the door is tight. I end up using the under keg area for bottled and canned beer. The temp control is great, it holds beer down to about 38F pretty easily. The dispenser is pretty simple, and basic, but works just fine. The unit has a pretty small floor footprint, but keep in mind the CO2 tank mount is external and on the back of the ‘rator.Kegging and force carbonating is a great time and effort saverI would definitely buy this again if I was looking for a single tower model, but I would prefer a 2nd dispenser if I were to do it again.

(Updated August 2022- still running this kegerator outside for 3 years now with zero issues.)I've been looking into a kegerator for a long time (years) and finally pulled the trigger last month. I wanted a perlick outdoor kegerator but those are a few thousand dollars and I wasn't willing to do that for my first kegerator. I decided on this edgestar kc2000 stainless just to give it a try and see how it works, how I like it, how to use it, etc. I couldn't be happier with the results. So far I've gone through 3 x 1/6 kegs of kona longboard lager since I can't see myself drinking kegs of a big IPA in the middle of summer at home by the pool. Assembly takes about half an hour and learning how to adjust the CO2 pressure comes with time. I actually have this kegerator outside by the pool in northern California and it's functioning perfectly. I know I'll need to cover it during the winter rainy season, but for now, it's holding about 32 degrees in full sun. The only issue I've had with it outside is the top (which is black plastic) has warped slightly, but nothing I'm concerned about. Bottom line - at $500, even if this breaks after a couple years, I'll probably end up getting another one of these before I end up dropping 4 grand on an outdoor rated Perlick.

Delivery was prompt - 2days. Unit is double boxed - no damage. When unit is plugged in it comes up to temperature quickly - less than 2 hours. Directions are excellent and complete assembly was 30 minutes. Faucet and keg coupler are not the highest quality and the keg coupler turned out to be a problem. The unit comes with a one dial regulator - a dual dial is preferred and essential. This is not my first kegerator. My first was a fridge conversion, which I had in my garage. Unfortunately the high summer temperature in Tucson, AZ (over 100* daily) caused the fridge to work itself to almost death so I needed to get the kegerator into the house - the fridge is going to Goodwill. The fridge conversion was upgraded with a SS CO2 tank, Perlick faucet ,dual dial regulator, Micro Matic keg coupler, all of which I used in place of the new stuff. Because I didn't want to clean my Micro Matic keg coupler ( the fridge temp was approaching 60* degrees and I didn't want the torpedo keg to spoil after only 5 glasses of beer had been poured) so I didn't fool around and used the new coupler. The beer would not pour because their coupler would not completely lock into the keg so I cleaned the Micro Matic and replace their provided coupler - should have done that in the first place. With the fridge conversion, I had the CO2 tank in the fridge with no problems. Not a good idea with this unit. The CO2 tank fit easily with the torpedo keg but the pressure gauge registered near the red (indicating refill). The cold compresses the gas and gives false readings - I thought the unit wouldn't pour because the tank needed to be refilled until I weight it and found I had 2lbs gas left. The problem was the coupler but I installed the CO2 tank outside the Edgestar.Invest in a dual dial regulator.Temperature is the most important element with your kegerator. Invest in a thermometer such as the Walmart AcuRite wireless digital, which provides the exact inside temperature and allows you to dial in your Edgestar.Tip: How did I know there was gas left in my tank? When the tank was filled I weighed it and wrote the weight on the tank. The empty tank weight is stamped on the tank - TW (Tare Weight). Mines 8.5lb. The tank weighed 10.5lb so even though the gauge indicated refill I knew I had 2lb of gas left. When the tank warmed up the gauge showed gas in the tank. So far I'm happy with the purchase of the Edgestar Kc2000 and recommend it.

To be honest, the only reason I didnt give it a 5 star was because I was expecting some sort of magical box that took up less floor space, but yet I wanted a walk-in cooler at the same time LOL. Other than that its a great kegerator for beginners like me!

I have had mine for 6 years and it still can freeze whatever is inside if I set it too low. It keeps the temperature very consistent so I have it set just above freezing. I have made some upgrades and it now has 2 taps off the main tower and another small tower off to the side for seltzer. That also means I am able to fit 2 1/6th kegs and a 1/2 gallon keg from Kegland. There appear to be no coils in the top of the fridge, so I was able to drill a hole in the rear left corner for the second tower no problem
