In my residence, I encountered a dead zone that significantly hindered my ability to obtain fast internet connectivity, which was quite frustrating given the reliance on the internet for various daily activities and work. Consequently, I made the decision to purchase this device, hoping to rectify the situation and restore seamless internet access throughout my home.I am thoroughly impressed with the device’s remarkable ability to provide me with fast internet access in previously inaccessible areas, such as the far corners of my living room and the bedrooms on the opposite side of the house. The product’s quality is exceptional, and it offers comprehensive coverage throughout my entire house, ensuring that every device, from my laptop to my smartphone, can connect to the internet without any issues. If you own a home spanning 1700 square feet, this device is highly recommended, as it effectively addresses the problem of dead zones and enhances overall internet connectivity. However, I must acknowledge that I did not read the instructions thoroughly, which was a mistake on my part. To achieve optimal performance, it is essential to connect the device to your home’s WiFi network and use the extender to extend the coverage, which I did not do initially. Unfortunately, I was unable to test the device without these components, so I cannot provide further assistance in this regard. It is crucial to follow the instructions to maximize the benefits of this device, and I would advise anyone considering purchasing it to read the manual carefully.I commend the creator for incorporating a QR code that allows users to guess the login credentials without disclosing their password, which is a thoughtful and secure feature. The device’s design is aesthetically pleasing, complementing the decor of my home, and it offers a convenient solution for those willing to invest in its premium price point. While the cost may be higher than some other options, the quality and performance justify the expense, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to improve their home internet connectivity.

Had a Nighthawk WiFi router, and even with extenders we had dead spots in our 4000 sq foot home. Got the eero router and a few eero extenders. Installation is easy, internet speed is very fast. Signal strength is excellent throughout home. Streaming movies and tv shows is quick. Wish I would have done this long ago. Couple of suggestions. Use your existing WiFi name and password for uninterrupted internet and smart tv’s etc. Otherwise you will have to reconnect all devices which would not be fun. No problems with Ring cameras and doorbell camera, unless you use a Chime Pro extender. If you did, you just have to reboot your Ring unit to get it back online.

I had heard that Wi-Fi extenders aren't really worth it because they can weaken the signal, especially in homes with lots of devices. But I was surprised by how well this one worked.I usually play on my PS5, and I’ve always had trouble connecting to the internet. The 2.5 GHz signal works okay for watching videos and movies, but when I try to play online, there’s a lot of lag or I can’t even connect. The 5 GHz signal would fix that problem, but it has a shorter range and wouldn't reach my PS5, especially with other devices like smart TVs, other game consoles, tablets, and phones using the connection. After I plugged in the extender and set it up, I saw an immediate improvement. My speed with the main eero was about 40 Mbps, but after adding the extender, my speeds jumped to 100 Mbps. For the price, this purchase is definitely worth it. I highly recommend it for households with lots of devices or areas that struggle with weak signals or dead spots.

You must have existing compatible eero system in place to use the extender. This extender added easily to the eero router system and extended the coverage as expected. Firmware update failed a few times then finally completed. There is nothing to configure on the extender itself. eero wireless system is limited in the configuration options but it does allow port forwarding and ip reservation. Great system for the nontech user as it is very easy to setup and use. Coverage is very reliable and complete in the area it covers but it does not have extended range coverage as my ASUS wireless mesh system does.

For a true network extender, these work perfectly as long as you reduce the number of walls in the way. We have spectrum for our internet and the router is in the living room on the first floor, which bends there was basically no reception to the Wi-Fi in second floor. I got the whole set. The signal directly from the new router is already much stronger, we get good extension across the whole first floor and from the extender in the basement. I put one extender upstairs, which helps with about half of the floor but they are just too many walls. That's the only reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five, because I probably need to get one more to get full coverage for the second floor.

These routers work very well. I was able to use two of them to hardwire my house and my shop and still have a third for another purpose of my choosing. Plenty fast and shouldn’t have to upgrade for many years.

Though I did not want another app on my personal electronic device, the eero is very easy to use for an older dude that resents advancing technology like a bad fungal infection that never goes away.

I’m having issues with signal strength even though I have the max from my isp, so I hoped the mesh extender would blend with my mesh router except they won’t talk to each other. I’m hopeful it can be fixed but I will need my ISP Tech to visit and possibly remove their router; it may be the whole problem.
