Although this is designed to use with an RV, I am using it at my house on my deck. I live in the woods and needed some height for my Starlink dish that I got a couple months ago. It was easy to set up, not too heavy for me to handle, and did the trick of improving my satellite service. Best of all, if I ever move, I can bring it with me.

So I also ordered the new and improved pole as based on reviews seemed more robust. Received old design. Requested a replacement. If new design is delivered I’ll update.9/19/23. Update: so decided to install while awaiting replacement. Starlink snaps into the grey adapter and does not spin. Visually it does not match picture of robust silver design shown in picture. But we will see how long it lasts. So far ok. Wish I could of spoke to someone or they would respond and let me understand but crickets.

We are using it to support our Starlink Satellite and it is holding up really well.We’ve had some really rough weather in recent months ( high winds, lots and lots of heavy rain).

The sections are difficult to disengage and tighten. Most importantly the largest diameter is significantly bigger than stated. So the antenna doesn’t fit into the support for which I ordered. I will have to craft something else as the return window passed.

Clips that pop out when you raise a section up kept failing and sections simply collapsed on each other. Only way I could use this pole would be if it was fully collapsed. No thanks, returning it asap. Very bad design, the clips should pop out a half inch or so on each side so that any vibration would not cause the section to collapse.

I love this purchase made a big difference in my connection with my starlink. It’s sturdy and doesn’t sway much in the wind. Easy set up and everything.

Gen 1 pipe adaptor fits perfectly over gen 2 adaptor that comes on the pole. Ships to Canada.I bought a 2 inch receiver to 2 inch flagpole adaptor that holds the pole nicely. I also needed a anti raddle hitch u-bolt to reduce the sway of the pole.

Thought it would be sturdier. Has a plastic tether ring which I hope will hold up!
