Stainless steel - excellent. Gas ovens prefer stainless steel. They heat evenly and are dishwasher safe. Luv them!!

I was asked to bake a taller birthday cake for a friend and only had 2- 9 in pans. I quickly went to Amazon, read reviews, and decided on these stainless-steel cake pans. They arrived the next morning and I quickly began baking. The pans are well made, sturdy and the cakes came out perfect!

I ordered these cake pans after doing away with aluminum cookware. They seem to do a very good job of evenly baking cakes, and I've found they are much easier to remove cakes from than our old pans. These things are polished to a mirror finish inside and out. I also planned on doubling the duty of these pans by using them to bake deep dish pizzas. I ordered six of these, so we could have plenty of pans for family pizza night. The Chicago style pizzas baked up perfectly, and were easy to remove once baked. I am giving these a five star rating. I've seen other people claiming that stainless pans aren't good for baking in, but I've found that to be false. With these pans, things cook properly, and cleanup is a breeze. I am making a point not to use any metal utensils with these, so they don't end up scratched up, but I'm sure these are going to last a lifetime.

I have not used this product yet but the first thing that was a bit off is the box it came in was not even taped closed. The package was opened when it was left on my porch. Thankfully all items were in tact. The pans did look new and not used so there is THAT. Once i actually bake with it, I will follow up wuth additional feedback.Updated August 13, 2024.I used my baking pans to make a 3 tier cake. I sprayed the pans with Chosen organic avocado spray and used parchment paper on the bottoms, cut out to fit the circular shape. Once the cakes were done, I took them out if the oven and let them cool for a bit on a cooling rack, then inverted the cakes which fell right out in perfect shape. I was very pleased. And cleaning was a complete snap. Highly recommend.
