Multiple Modes
Equipped with exclusive Spektrum AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-aXis) and SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) Select technologies. AS3X works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence to deliver a locked-in feel that makes it seem like you're flying a much larger airplane.
- SAFE Select offers pitch and bank angle limits along with automatic self-leveling that can be turned on and off at the flip of a switch, making it easy to fly for new and experienced pilots alike.
- Panic Recovery: Switch to Beginner Mode and release the sticks if you lose control in Intermediate or Experienced modes. SAFE technology automatically returns airplane to level flight.

I've been flying RC aircraft for over 50 years and wanted a small and slow aircraft that I could fly in my backyard while relaxing in the evenings with a cool beverage. The UMX Night Vapor fit the bill perfectly. It's very easy to fly, even for a new comer with the built-in stabilization. The stabilization can be turn-off for that more spirited pilot. When flying outdoors, best to fly when there's little to no wind, since this lightweight aircraft can easily be blown into the trees. The plane can be flown indoors, but unless the plane is flown in a large area, such as a gymnasium, maneuverability will be limited. Durability is good, however if you fly the plane into an hard obstacle at maximum speed, it will break. Also, handle the aircraft gently - it's delicate. Keep the original eFlite box for storage. Setup was easy, charge the battery, insert battery into aircraft battery holder with hook and loop (Velcro), turn on the transmitter, plug in aircraft battery and fly. The hook and loop attachment for the battery can sometimes let loose, so a small hook and loop tie wrap is more useful. YMMV

This is my first indoor plane and I like it alot. It can fly very slowly, and has dual rates to make it even easier to fly. Comes assembled, charge battery and go. Reasonable value - I would recommend it for that purpose. I think it would have a hard time flying in any wind.

I’ve been an R/C modeler for well over 35 years, and have had over a decade of experience with planes, helicopters, quadcopters, and drones.This model is very fragile, even for experienced modelers. The flight characteristics are beginner friendly, but even with zero crashes, the exposed control board is prone to debris.After only 12 battery packs, one of the wires leading to the board has already frayed and broke off. No way to re-solder it back to the board because the connection is potted/epoxied.Poor design; only solution is to buy another control board for nearly 3/4 the cost of another similar plane.Not recommended.

I don't give out 5 stars, this deserves it.Do you want slow flight? Fast flight? Indoor flight? Night Flight? This has all of it. Yes, you will need to tune it up before it will fly true, but you really need to do that with EVERY plane you build or buy. This thing is fun, safe, and will allow you to build your skills up. The lights are bright as Hades for day flights, but seriously shine at night. Get yourself some nice 150mAh 1S batteries and it will last you a good long time. I get right around 15 minutes per flight, and this really is a GREAT time, its just enough time to really enjoy flying, and gives you a good amount of time to rest up. SAFE mode and AS3X work great. Binding is simple, programing is simple, and the instructions are well written. There is no upgrade you need to install into your transmitter, simply set up a 3 channel air-frame (set up a 4 channel if you don't have the option to drop the ailerons).My rudder and my elevator were not even close, but its pretty simple to to tune them up. Take your time, fly slow and enjoy the learning. This will give you everything you need to learn to fly fixed-wing A/C if that is your goal. Otherwise, this is a fun little flier when the winds are dead and/or at night.

This is such a cool little plane. It's an amazing testament to how much technology can be crammed into a circuit board the size of your pinky fingernail. I bought it to fly indoors during the winter. It will fly outdoors on a still evening. It has AS3X which is just mind boggling. You can fly it in your living room if it's big enough and you have no table lamps.Only complaint is the battery doesn't like to stay attached to the velcro, and it's hard to figure out a good solution that doesn't add weight. Every microgram counts on this plane.

This plane is very lightly built. The only problem I noted is that the velcro that holds the battery comes loose easily. Save the box for storage and transport. When you fly it, you want very calm conditions.

buy lots of aftermarket 250mah bbatteries, nice long flight times,,,, i dont love the linear servo set up but this thing is so delicate but it has to be to fly in my bedroom. way relaxing slow flights with nice leds and rudder is controlled by ailerion channel so its a bit odd at first that it dose not have roll control with main wing airlerons but not capeable given how its built.fly in very little wind, as its litteraly only as heavy as a lighter....if that.im using the rtf transmitter from my nano blade s3 heli, and it flys bboth without rebindings...i also have a dx6i but to use safe and led light color change features though is hard with other transmitters but not impossible. just nice to keep it with the plane in the original box just to keep it safe....cough on it and it will take off lol

Bought this for my son and now I want one for myself! Super easy to fly with the stabilization on, yet with a flick of the switch you can do some pretty impressive maneuvers for 3 channel slow flyer. Flight time is great, but I picked up a couple 200mah batteries for even longer sessions.Very happy with this purchase and it's totally worth the price.

Was soll ich sagen ,ob in kleinsten Raeumen , oder , bei wenig Wind im Freien , der Vogel macht immer Spass zu fliegen , wobei die Fernsteuerung auch Anteil hat. Und Graslandugen steckt er auch locker weg.Super das Teil

Trotz Bindung an meine Spektrum Fernsteuerung, was sehr schnell und einfach funktioniert hat, habe ich bis heute keinen einzigen ordentlichen Flug hinbekommen. Das obwohl ich kein Anfänger bin! Trotz voll geladener Akkus fängt das Modell schon beim Start an zu pumpen, was Nix mit dem Schwerpunkt zu tun hat.
