For the New Year’s, I’m organizing my cabinets so I’m not using it for eggs, I have a lot of pasta and bagged food that I stocked up in this basket. It’s a little smaller than I thought, but that has nothing to do with the shipper because they do include measurements so that was on me . I think it’s versatile, very pretty . I ordered another today . Some of the comments mentioned you could take off the straps so if you don’t need those, those can be removed. I can’t wait to get my second one and work on the next shelf.

I bought this basket to store garlic bulbs over several months and it is a very handsome basket and well constructed with the aluminum rim around the top for strength. However from the very first moment I saw it I did not like the appearance of the handles and after touching them and running my hands over them I am convinced that they are not leather. If they are they are then they are a variety of leather I have never seen that feels more like fake leather. I cut the handles off to remove what I didn't like and left myself with a great looking basket that will serve my purpose well.
