This is super charming it goes together fast and has plenty of charisma. The days of the week are painted onto the front of the countertop egg holder. So if you're thinking of labeling it with custom labels you would need to cover up the lettering first. The words are in a nice script and add charm to the baskets. So, I'll keep the script the way it is. I usually don't have that many eggs laid by our hens each day but I thought it might be cute to use this for my daily garden vegetable harvest instead. As it's winter right now the hens are barely laying and the garden isn't growing. I've filled it with potatoes, onions, avocados, and apples. It looks great this way and adds charm to the kitchen. It only takes about 10 minutes to put together. When putting it together I found it was easiest to put the back nuts and bolts in first leaving it loose and then doing the sides loosely and tightening them all down after they all aligned. Doing it from left to right and tightening them as I went didn't work out well. but aligning them before tightening them did. Next, I put in the little dividers but found they were wobbly till I gently squeezed them tight with needle nose plyers around the metal wire that they straddle. The height of it is too high to fit on my counter with my standard height cabinets. This might not be a problem for everyone. 1" more and it would have slid under. I have thick counters so if your counters are tile or melinite it might be okay. If you want to put it on the counter under the cabinets I would measure before ordering or at least have an alternate plan. I have a bit of counter space that doesn't have upper cabinets so that's where it's at for now. It can also be hung on the wall and has sturdy mounts welded into it. It comes with screws and drywall inserts to mount it on a wall.

This 3 tier storage rack is designed for eggs but of course can be used for anything. Nicely made, nicely finished and was easy to assemble. Certainly astetically easing enough to be in a nice kitchen. The 3 tier option is great for us because we have about 70 laying hens. In the summer we get around 25 eggs a day so the larger option was best for us. For anyone hat has 15 or less laying hens the 2 tier will liley be sufficient, although it's useful to hold many things so maybe the 3 tier might be suitable for any situation. The finish and labeling is very nice. Smooth and attractive. There aren't any rough edges or points sticking out. The welds are smoothed with no aged edges, although the paint is well applied its hard to even see the welds. They did a nice job painting and finishing this unit. The daily lbles on the front are an excellent idea, along with the top rack being labeled last week make it easy to keep track of the oldest eggs. Brilliant! The asembly was very easy, took about 10 mins from opening the box, to a finished product. Has all the necessary screws and tools required. It also comes with screws to hang it on a wall or similar. It does come with plastic anchors to secure into sheetrock, however I recomend hanging at lest one side on a stud or some other type of solid surface. The anchor holes to mount to the wall are 15" apart so if you get it lined up just right you should be able to just barely hit 2 studs. It would be a great improvement if the wall mount holes were closer to 16" apart. I do recomend trying to get it on 2 studs. If it were full of eggs, it would be quite heavy and sheetrock just won't be strong enough to hold it up for a long time, eventually becoming loose and possibly falling. Definitely try to hit this least one stud, preferably 2. I might also recomend using a higher quality wood screws, the supplied screws may snap off while screwing them in. If you do plan to use the provided wood screws to hang the unit on the wall, you should definitely drill pilot holes. If you're hanging it on hardwood, the privided wood screws will definelty sheer off during installation especially if you don't pre-drill and use some beeswax on the screws. Providing stainless steel screws for wall hanging would be a great improvement. At $49.99 with a $15 dollar coupon I think the value is spot on for the 3 tier unit. Value is defined as quality vs cost. It's nice and well made but if there was no $15 coupon available I would say it's a bit too expensive. I just don't think it's worth fifty bucks. Thirty five dollars is fair.Overall this is a nice, astetically pleasing and well made rack. I would recommend it to anyone that needs to store eggs or anything else for that matter. The daily lables on the front provide a great way to keep track of the oldest to newest eggs and as anyone that has chickens knows storing an abundance of eggs while also trying to use the oldest first is not as easy as it sounds. I would recomend this item to anyone looking for a storage rack like this one, genuine good stuff here. 4 stars because the wall hanging holes should be closer to 16" apart, and the supplied wood screws should be a made of better quality metal.

I don’t personally own any chickens as cute as they are, but I do have my house done in modern firehouse for the most part and in my dining room. I had a shelf up that I had had for a while, but when I saw this wire basket, I knew it was going to fit perfectly without having to take anything else down. And it did fit perfectly in that spot right now. It only has one ceramic chicken in it because that’s all I could find from my mini things that I own, but I will be getting some fake eggs to put with her and the other shelf parts I’m not sure yet. It wasn’t hard to put together, but it was helpful to have two of us want to line up the holes and the other one to put the nut in each one it’s very sturdy looks exactly as his picture. The hardest part was putting it on the wall. It did take two people so that one could hold it up all the other got the first two screws in. I did not use the pickers because in this case I didn’t need them but if you put something heavy in it, I would suggest you use the anchors. It is a little more difficult to get your hands in there to put screws in and so what we did is the drill itself was really hard to get in there so we got a very long screwdriver, but I punched a hole in first with a snail as best as I could again was difficult because trying to get your hands in in there to work with it was a little more difficult so consider the difficulty level just a little under easy but again I do suggest two people even though I had marked the wall and I had leveled everything out. I’m so very happy with this wall basket. I wouldn’t change anything about the way it looks. This is a definite winner in farmhouse decorating and the price is very reasonable for what you’re getting a true winner and home decoration.
