This will slice eggs, definately, but it also works on strawberries and even mushrooms. I was pleased with my purchase!

I enjoy eating hard boiled eggs quite frequently. This device slices them up in an instant. You can even slice them lengthwise if you desire. Another great time saving use for this slicer is its use on button or crimini mushrooms. The slices come out uniform and take just a minute to slice a up full container for salads or cooking. I have found that the slicer is just as effective with fresh strawberries, too. Clean up is a breeze.

Don't waste your time wondering if its worth it - yes it is! Well made, easy to clean, heavy as in Craftsmanship. Order this and you'll jave a trusted gadget for a long time! I gave up on the ones from home parties that hosts itself as a chef's partner... I've gone through two of them. Buy this one and don't look back. :)

Works well to slice eggs. I have been hand washing it since I bought it last year until I placed it in the dishwasher yesterday. The shiny metal (apparently aluminium) had completely corroded, rendering the item unusable. I do not recommend placing this in the dishwasher.
