I really wanted my kiddo to have a cute easter basket filler with these egg-shaped crayons and coloring pages. And in theory, they're great. The pages are super cute, and the crayons themselves are thin and oval-shaped, great for little hands. The color selection is really diverse, too, with 12 different shades for creative coloring.The problem is that the crayons are really hard and don't transfer color very well. We tried using them and could not get a strong image on the coloring page. Maybe if the crayons are used continuously to get down to a less-waxy part so that the color can transfer, that might be needed. Otherwise the product itself was cute and presentable but a bit of a dud.
