This is the second one I bought. I've had the first one for over 7 years and it's starting to show signs of losing its storage of electrical power. That's why I bought this one as a backup. Even though it's the tool is a lot older it work just as good as far as fit and function as the old battery. And I like the the fuel gauge monitor on it better than my old one.

I use several Ego tools in my garden. I have a lawn mower, weed wacker, edger, and blower. I recently bought another battery for my blower, weed wacker, and edger. I already have two larger batteries for my mower. All the Ego batteries are powerful, and last long enough to trim and blow clean my lawn two or three times. I do not miss the gas cans at all. I also like Ego customer service, and the local network of service companies if something malfunctions.

Don't waste your money on the cheaper chinese knockoffs. We've found they only last for a few recharge cycles. By contrast, every EGO battery we've purchased has lasted for years of regular recharge.

I recently purchased the EGO Power+ BA1400T 56-Volt 2.5 Ah Battery with Upgraded Fuel Gauge (3rd Generation) in Black, and my experience has been somewhat mixed. While I appreciate the ability to register the battery with EGO for warranty purposes, the battery itself seems overpriced and doesn't last as long as I had hoped.This is my fourth EGO battery; three came with various tools like my mower and snowblower. One of those batteries degraded more quickly than expected during the warranty period, but EGO did replace it, which is reassuring. However, the longevity and performance of this battery remain a concern, especially with winter approaching and the anticipated use for snow removal.In summary, while I find value in sticking with official EGO batteries for the warranty and reliability, the high price and somewhat disappointing battery life make this purchase less satisfying than I had hoped.

There are lots of lookalike EGO batteries for less but wasn’t sure about the quality. Knowing cheaply made batteries can be a fire risk decided the extra money spent for a genuine EGO battery was worth the piece of mind.

It seems to be a fair price considering the going rate. 2.5Ah seems to be enough power to get the job done and it seems to recharge very fast. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would buy it again.

not much to say really about a rechargeable battery. Delivered on time and works well. Doesn’t seem to hold its charge as well as some of the earlier models did
