I have an Ego mower already and the mower and battery had held up well. The chainsaw had good review from Project Farm. It has been great for my home use cutting down small tree. It's lightweight for what it is and easy to use.

This saw really surprised me. Plenty of power, light and easy to use. Ego is a great brand. I also have a leaf blower and weed trimmer. The batteries are interchangeable and just very good products.

I wasn't expecting much. Just got it to clear through some fallen trees after a hurricane. It's powerful enough to cut through a fallen tree that's about 10 inches in diameter. It does not come with bar and chain oil but I had some laying around that worked out. The chain tensioner is really simple to use. Replacing the chain is simple enough. The fail stop is not the fastest but fast enough.

Great saw for around the home trimming. Battery last for about 10-15 minutes. Cuts ok for a cordless saw.Not something you would fell a tree with, although I would probably try.

My first battery powered chainsaw and seems to work well for the size and has plenty of power. no more mixing gas and having to pull on it to start it. Would recommend

I already had an EGO Blower and Weed Trimmer. So I assumed this chain saw would be equally good. I was correct. I love it - easy to use and good battery life. I recommend it

I like all the ego products I have tried. The chainsaw was an excellent present my husband paid for. Anyone who has a hard time pulling a pull rope or mixing gas will benefit from ego products. I also highly recommend the weedeater! When my husband mentioned an electric weedeater, I remembered the ones on a long cord that could barely cut grass! My 56 volt weedeater really impressed me. Each time you buy a product make sure it comes with a battery and charger, then you can swap batteries and charge them while you work. I haven't used my chainsaw yet, but I am sure I will be pleased.

I've had a gas powered chainsaw for years, but it's always been so hard to start that I hardly used it. I needed a chainsaw to make it easier to cut back honeysuckle and the occasional dead cedar and honey locust. So, I don't need a really huge chainsaw. I decided to try electric, and after reading a lot of reviews and thinking it over - I decided to go with the EGO 14". I charged the battery overnight and gave it a try today.I'm impressed...in less than 30 minutes I cut down ~15 honeysuckle, dead cedar, and a few dead limbs off another tree. It went through everything with ease - even the ~8" diameter cedar.It's so nice to just press the safety, squeeze the trigger, and be cutting instead of adding gas, priming the system, and pulling until it starts.I forgot to check the charge after doing that, but it must not have run down much. It was fully charged again in So far, I think I made a good choice.

After making a few cuts, motor packed in. After more than two months of communication with EGO, we still can’t get product repaired. They did establish case number and acknowledged it was under warranty. The repair shop has been unsuccessful contacting the company that handles their warranty after over a month. We have been without the use of this very expensive saw all spring and summer. EGO has not responded to latest email.
