I’m glad I finally bit the bullet and bought this trimmer. My old two stroke trimmer was giving me issues and my wife hated it.This Ego trimmer came with two batteries and has been more than enough to handle our needs. The automatic line feed is a life saver for my wife and the automatic line winder makes it easy to put new line in with very little effort.It’s very powerful and can be operated in two different speeds. It appears to be a quality machine and was a great value for the money. I won’t miss mixing gas or worrying about cleaning out the carb every year or two.The most important part is that my wife is happy with it. Happy wife = happy life.

On the Heavy Side with the bigger battery (4.0 amp) while operating but on the plus side it last much longer.String IQ is another incredible experience and the extendable shaft.Ultra easy String wrapping - takes about one minute max !!!Decent amount of power provided and the combo includes a spare battery (2.5 amp) which is perfect if your main battery dies.Battery charger a bit louder than expected but no issues.Recommending a harness (sold separately) for ease of operationOverall experience: Extremely Satisfied with EGO Power+ ST1623T.Trust me guys, you are gonna love this unit because my wife asked me to try it out just to see how it works and she ended up really liking it and she trimmed the sides and back instead of me. I said, "you go girl", LOL

Powerful, quiet, 2 speed ranges and self loading line. Battery life is variable depending on what size battery you have installed, she speed you are running at and how thick the vegetation is, but I would say that battery life is excellent. It also has a shoulder strap for easier carrying, especially with larger batteries. I have become a big fan of EGO products and now have an EGO snow blower, Z6 e-steer riding mower, trimmer, edger, blower, chainsaw and many batteries. The shop vac and pressure washer are on my wish list.

Powerful trimmer is easy to use. Easy to load more string. Runs a long time on one charge, and recharges quickly. It’s heavier than my old trimmer, but much more powerful. The handle makes it easy to hold vertically for edging. The auto-feed function works great - you hardly notice it, and it just works.

I upgraded my string trimmer from the EGO model that was a universal trimmer. This version with the auto powerloader makes trimming so much easier. This unit has great power, and is not too heavy. The provided batteries provide ample juice to trim for 10+ minutes

I enjoy almost everything about this trimmer. The ease of use, the performance, all of it is generally great! The auto string feed and string reloading features are so nice, but they come at cost of size and weight. You have a shaft that's ultra light but a head that's about 3X thicker than an average trimmer head. That being said the features within the head will likely be worth it for you! Very pleased with ease. Works very well. Works as well if not better than any gas powered trimmer. Battery life seems to last a long time enough to do my yard.

This particular combo was quite a bargain. At the time I bought it You basically buy two batteries and get a weedeater for 12 bucks. I just needed to buy more batteries for my other equipment and I was like for 12 bucks I will take that weedeater too! Turns out it’s my favorite weedeater. Everything about it is awesome. I am in charge of a commercial property and it doesn’t skip a beat, it feeds well And automatically! It has the simple loading With auto winding as my other two but Not having to bump to get some more string to come out, turns out to make the Weed eating experience even more pleasurable lol. I definitely enjoy weed eating. I’ll touch back on this review in six months and let you know how it’s going. I did notice it’s a little heavier than my other two weedeaters from EGO , But not much heavier and it hasn’t bothered me any, it also comes with a sling hook that’s adjustable, you just have to buy the sling. I bought some aftermarket one on Amazon and it works well. Oh yeah, the batteries are doing fine too. Just make sure when you store batteries for a long period of time you leave 50 to 60% charge or whatever the instruction manual says. I was buying new batteries because I wasn’t cycling through my other ones I was just using the front too and then recharging them so now I have them in sequence you end up using them all in order and putting them back in their Recharge que. (I use a lot of EGO products)
